McLean Falls!

The 22-metre McLean Falls on the Tautuka River in Catlins Forest Park, descend a number of steep dropoffs and terraces, and are often described as the most spectacular in the region! Some facts about McLean Falls... Katie, Grandma aka "She," the boys, and myself took a drive to the ''Falls.'' When we arrived the 'smooth river' was more compared to a vast moving rapids that were very scary! The water was brown because they were going to fast. The river is usually very blue and green. But the night before it down poured so when we arrived the whole river was flooded which made it huge!
Then we went down for a picnic and had Subway. It was VERY windy, food was flying everywhere and ducks started to surround us! But we will probably always talk about it now and one of those funny had to be there moments!!

All 4 of us:)

Picnic with the ducks!! It was so windy!
